Reminding everyone that the issues in Fulton County do not just center around the Resolution 2012-477 but also with an unqualified Dog Pound staff making assessments on dogs who find themselves captured and detained. They are lost, scared, hungry, could be injured...a multitude of reasons why they would show signs that are easily misread by those who either do not know the dog, have no professional training with dogs, or have their own agenda. One of the solutions that was brought up to the county was having dogs that are brought into the pound assessed by a professional. We have professionals in our county, CERTIFIED by the ASPCA and using the SAFER Aggression Assessment.
