Reminds me of the many things I was told I could not do at San Francisco State - then when I did them I was told I was not all black. They said my heels did not protrude - I was not swaybacked - I have a blue ring around the brown in my eyes - I have B positive blood. I told them I went to segregated schools until the Air Force - they reminded me of the One Drop rule! I usually won standup IQ test and college psychology professors estimated me at 140 (I tested 135 on the military GT). I was still last hired and seldom promoted though professors at SF City College and SF State raved about my skills and advised me to teach. When I taught at colleges and at corporations - I was challenged at every turn. Like Neil I was most often challenged by blacks even when I served my community. visit my website at wadelaney
