Reminiscing.... Where were you? I remember chilling in the back of my parents 1972 green/side panel Ford Country Squire station wagon with my sister Terri Wiebold cassette player firmly attached to my arm rocking out and waiting for my parents to come out of the casino. In 1976 my dad was stationed in Memmingen, Germany and our family took vacations what seemed like on a weekly basis. I had checked out a Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album from the base library (I think it was just an Air Force NCO in his quarters sharing a pretty huge collection of music) and somehow managed to figure out how to copy/tape from LP to cassette on my dads awesome Sansui stereo system. Anyways, it seemed we were having a pretty great time considering all of the Porsches, Rolls Royces and other high end European sports cars in the parking lot of the Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco, but at 9/7 years old, we had no way of knowing that inside was where the real fun was. I would take that memory over any casino memory, any day, though. Great times and great music. I love you, Terri!! G https://youtube/watch?v=vLW_pjrssxI
