Reminiscing about my high school days. Here I am at seventeen, senior year at Stuyvesant High School. I didnt know it back then, but I was such a GREAT kid. The WORST thing I EVER did was cut class and sneak out at night to go dance with my best friend, also a Stuyvesant student. We were two babes in the NYC jungle, except the bad stuff was not part of our consciousness so we were oblivious to it. Im wearing my silver hoop earrings and favorite gold necklace, a gift from a good friend. The pendant was a P for Pura and the heart was inscribed with my name on the back. All were stolen from my apt. shortly after this photo was taken. I wonder if the same folks responsible for anonymously harassing me throughout my life are the same folks responsible for all of the anonymous thefts of my belongings, and then of my sons (jackets, purses, computers, documents, etc.) Hope theyve been caught by now. Anyway, it all seems like yesterday.
