Remnant prayer journal: Paul who cut his hair (3.12, 2014) Acts 18:18-23 So Paul still remained a good while. Then he took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. He had his hair cut off at Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow. 19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there; but he himself entered the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. 20 When they asked himto stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, 21 but took leave of them, saying, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus. 22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up and greeted the church, he went down to Antioch. 23 After he had spent some time there, he departed and went over the region of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples. Paul had his hair cut off before God because of a vow in Cenchrea. We can see that Paul looked at the past, present, and future and made an important resolution with the answer of one heart, whole heart, and continuation. This is an important answer to receiving answers to prayer. What will happen if you enjoy the blessing of prayer as an evangelist with the important resolution of the Gospel? 1. God will use you to change the age. Josephs circumstances changed overnight regardless of his own desires. His brothers sold him and he was dragged into the slave market. And he lived in slavery and in imprisonment in Egypt. At that time, Joseph connected his situation to prayer and enjoyed the fact that God was with him. Eventually, Joseph became the main figure in saving the entire Egypt. If we make an important resolution and enjoy the mystery of prayer within difficult circumstances like Joseph and Paul did, we will receive amazing spiritual strength. 2. The work of Word fulfillment will arise. The work of God fulfilling Gods Word will take place. The words when the day of Pentecost came (Acts 2:1), in those days (Acts 2:5, 18), that day (Acts 2:41), and daily (Acts 2:47) mean that God worked to fulfill His Word. Also, he opened the doors of missions (Acts 13:1). In addition, He allowed Paul to know the time schedule of Rome evangelization and gave him answers (Acts 19:21, 23:11, 27:24). 3.The work of healing will take place. The works of personal healing will take place first. When Peter and John were going to pray at three in the afternoon (scheduled prayer), they healed the crippled beggar. During his evangelism work, Paul healed the sick and demon-possessed individuals. If you enjoy the blessing of prayer, the work of saving and healing the field will arise. If you are within Him who gives you strength, evidence of the field being healed will be given to you. Also, you will heal the age and the world.
