Likewise, those who ponder upon how they can evangelize are normal Christians. Paul, who endlessly thought about evangelism, confessed that this Gospel must be preached in Rome also. What is the meaning of Paul’s confession? 1. Evidence of the past The evidence of the past endures even to this day, God displayed the works of the Exodus through Moses, Joshua and Caleb. He protected against the Philistines by raising up Samuel and David; by raising up Elisha He stopped the invasion of the Aramean army. Moreover, He allowed the exodus from Babylon through Isaiah and the exodus from Rome through Peter and Paul. And He raised Martin Luther and John Calvin during the reign of the Roman Catholic Church and allowed the evangelism movement (the Protestant Reformation) to take place. Even now God will raise the Remnants and church officers and stop the age of religious syncretism. 2. Evidence of today The evangelism movement and the covenant are the evidence of today that will last forever. We will gain power if we wholeheartedly pray as we believe in the mystery of Christ, the kingdom of God and the promise of the filling of the Holy Spirit so that this answer becomes personalized. At this time when we pray holding on to the pulpit messages, the Word of God will be brought to fulfillment and 3,000 disciples will arise in the field.
