The Renegades offense exploded for 11 hits in the game, compared to just five for Alpharetta. Leadoff hitter Brennan Harper (2015, White House Heritage, TN) went 2-4 in the contest with an RBI and a run scored. Jared Knight (2015, Beech Senior HS,TN) and Jesse McCoy (2016, Beech Senior HS, TN) eached chipped in with a double a piece. Connor Lewis (2015, Beech Senior HS, TN) pitched six innings of work, displaying a fastball that topped out at 81 mph while averaging 78-80 mph. He also was able to mix in a handful of off-speed pitches as well. For Team Alpharetta, Cole Varner (2016, Lambert HS, GA) went 2-3 at the plate, with two runs scored. Caston McDonald (2016, South Forsyth HS, GA) pitched two innings, and he too showed a fastball that topped out at 81 mph.
