Renovation work at the Koenig building of the Alumni Association revealed some nifty early wallpaper! We were only able to gather a handful of samples. A few small pieces will be sacrificed in order to pull apart the layers and do some wallpaper archaeology! The small fragment detail reveals the earliest known wallpaper from the front hallway of the old Presidents House. The larger detail reveals an elaborate farm/cottage scene. Stay tuned for what we uncover next!
