Renovations to our Silver Palm Dining Car are now completed. They include updated electrical and plumbing systems, commercial style dishwasher, new double oven stove, large utility sink, larger refrigerator and many smaller projects that have been completed at the time. Electrical and plumbing permits are onhand and I will call for final inspection next week. Fire exit plan has been drawn and new fire extinguishers have been placed in three locations. The new instant hot water heater delivers 136F. water to the new sink and dishwasher. I havent measured the temp inside the washer as yet. Hand wash sink has 132F hot water. North sink 129F. You will need to be careful. We need to make sure the electrician, plumber, sheetmetal company and HVAC company are recognized. They all stepped up and gave the museum a big break on cost.
