Repentance has been a frequently misinterpreted, misquoted & misunderstood word for decades both in the natural as well as in the spiritual. The dictionary defines repentance in words such as regret, remorse, contrition, grief, penitence , contriteness, self-reproach, guilt etc. Repentance according to the Bible is the ability to change our mind when we become aware of the magnitude of the crimes we have committed & the realization of receiving complete forgiveness through the salvation that we receive through the revelation of Jesus finished work on the cross. Reconciliation & restoration cannot take place without repentance. Changing your mind to accept his love, mercy & goodness has completely redeemed us forever, through his righteousness alone. It also enables us to accept that all things are possible not by our strength, might, influence, affluence, ability, credibility or reliability but by His spirit alone. The knowledge of being freed of slavery to sin & made righteous by Gods righteousness alone, migrates us to son ship & every blessing in the supernatural realms.
