Repentance is widely taught and understood to be a change of mind about sin. These same people wont teach on what sin is bc they believe everyone already knows when theyre in sin and dont need to feel beat up about it or like outcasts. The out come: People profess Christ w no understanding about sin and its penalty to all w out partiality. There is self pardoning bc all are in sin, but Im now ok bc I know its wrong. But if all pretty much know its wrong, then all are free from its penalty, while not free from its ways. This line of thought has bred once saved always saved. Repentance is godly sorrow of all unrighteousness and turning from it and toward Jesus to walk in His ways instead. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
