Report on “Cyclone – HUDHUD” relief operations in coastal Andhra districts by Sai Association of Tourism Trade Organisations, India With the Divine Grace and Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu, under the auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, the relief work to the cyclone affected people of Visakhapatanam, Vizianagaram and flood affected Srikakulam districts was continued by the vibrant and ever service minded Sevadals, Volunteers and Disaster Management Team of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations. Our Reporter from the operationl site, adds that the relief work commenced on 13th October, will continue till 25th October as hitherto planned by the Organisers. During the relief operations, large number of Pulihora packets and other eatables like biscuits, buns, milk-powder, water packets were distributed unabatingly in all the affected three districts. Besides usable items like mats, candles, match-boxes were also distributed to the needy people. With the financial contributions from Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, large quantity of utensils were added to the cloth items such as sarees, dhotis and blankets, distributed to the hapless victims in the above three districts, and also in the fishermen areas of Bheemili and Visakhapatanam districts. The latter were also distributed with water purifiers. In this regard , we should mention about the contributions in kind made by the District Organisations of Guntur, East Godavari, West Godavari and notably from the neighboring State of Odisha.
