Report on Event at Modern Public School: We are a group of young passionate people with fire and zeal to achieve perfection. We want to bring a transformation in the society through our organization by providing people a never before presented opportunity to change their lives through OUR SERVICES, TRAINING, EVENT ORGANISATION & SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT. We have laid the foundation of an organization that works for the overall development of society through our Services, Training, Event management and Pet Projects. We are looking forward to help the students and youngsters realize their potential and motivate them towards the real meaning of education apart from providing them a splendid chance to develop all round personality. Recently a workshop was conducted on September 10, 2014 (Wednesday) in the beautiful premises of Modern Public School at Jhumri Telaiya, Koderma(Jharkhand).It is the school from were one of the co-founders of the organization, Mr. Rahul Thakur completed his Matriculation in 2007. It was a really a proud moment for him and the school as well. Around 100 students from standard 9th and learning attitude. In the teacher`s corner were sitting Chotu Sir (The principal), Manoj Sir (Mathematics Teacher), Pallavi and Ruma Madam(Assistant Teachers). Mrs.Sangita Sharma, The Director and ex Principal couldn’t attend as she had an operation in Ranchi. Her absence was really a matter of concern. The workshop started with a motivational video of APJ Abdul Kalam, (the former president of our country). The video was shown with an intention to imbibe positive energy, motivation and zeal to primarily excel in career and to accept the challenges of life. It said “Dreams are not something that we see in our sleep, but dreams are actually something that doesn’t let us sleep”. Then it was followed by identification of the problem areas of students, where they lack and how to improve the same to move towards a successful career and to be precise, successful life. The prime areas covered in the workshop were: • Discovering the real meaning of Education. • Changing attitude towards education. • Smart Education V/s Traditional Education. • Motivation towards Education. • Developing all round personality through Smart education. • Use of Technology in Education. • Sowing the seeds of Entrepreneurship in young minds. • Trickledown effect of Education in the society. Then all the students were asked to fill up feedback forms which asked questions like – Real Meaning of Education, the major hurdles they face towards a bright career, communication gap between parents and children, changes that need to be implemented in our Education system and ways to solve all the aforesaid problems. After very careful analysis of the forms by the team, it was found that more than 95% of the students believe that our education system is not up to the mark. Undoubtedly a number of steps have been taken over the last 5 years by our Education Ministry like changes in examination pattern, introduction of CCE in board exams etc. but their execution and implementation is cumbersome process and matter of concern for the students, teachers and parents as well. and 10th participated willingly with a very open mind To conclude with we want to provide solutions to the above problems and bring a major change in our education system. This Process is to be initiated with the starting of crash course in the school premises (and outside as well) that will cover various disciplines and topics as mentioned below: Career counseling and guidance (All possible careers management/Engineering/ fashion Designing/Photography etc. ) Performing & Visual Arts Training (guitar/vocals/sketching etc.) Practical workshops for exposure to Society, Market, Environment, Economy, All Probable career options. Regular competition, Quiz, Debate Opportunities to perform in events as dancers, singers, host, anchor etc. Developing a Responsible attitude towards society.
