Reports of a suspect package at Canary Wharf brought me right back to that fateful morning at The London Studios. I was walking from the tube along Upper Ground when I saw the cordon and a large group of worried looking folk all being told to get back by the burly, serious policeman. Fear was on their faces, and as I was told that there was a man with a bomb in the foyer at work, fear came over me too Im not ashamed to say, but that fear soon turned into a morbid curiousity, I was going nowhere, I was staying here to see what was going to happen... Turns out it was some nutter with a packet of Walls wrapped in tin foil. Arsehole didnt even hold out long enough until the pub opened. Was back at work by 11:30.
