Reports that Paul Revere is dead. The past few decades were pretty much a comedy act, on the state fair and summer Turnip Festival circuit but in their prime they were a straight up rock and roll machine with the best of the Northwests players brought in by Revere and singer Mark Lindsay. From about 65 to 70 or so they were inescapable on the radio and its a staggering list of hits. They never got the respect they deserved. Probably the outfits, and by the time they dumped them, the damage was done. Listen to Kicks or Just Like Me and say they werent a punk band. I dare you
