Five words have been ringing in my spirit all night long and in the wee early hours, “I’m in love with you.” As I got up to write a word of encouragement God began to remind me of an spiritual encounter with Him back in 1986. The song goes on to say that nothing shall separate me, etc. But mind you all I’ve been hearing is those 5 words. As I began to reflect this morning I was hearing relationship and marriage. Remember God needs you to grow up and be mature so He can marry you (His Bride). At the same token I realize many of us struggle to be delivered from ourselves as well as our past. So let me share for a moment and be transparent. I KNEW when I was younger I needed help. I would cry out to the Lord because there were things I was doing that was against Him. Lord help me was my cry! I remember standing on the balcony of a PAW convention. We were in choir practice but were instructed by (at the time) Evang. Iona Locke to come to worship. Helen Baylor began to lead us in worship. No one laid hands on me but as I sang I felt this incredible presence and knew immediately what I was requesting came into play, i.e. I was delivered! Nothing could ever come close to a description of the powerful presence of God while I was worshiping. Down through the years the Lord taught me how to free myself. Ladies and Gents, submission and asking is key. I see so many of you who are up early in the am and you make note of it here on FB but do you make note of it to God. Is it possible He is asking you for some relationship time? You and I both KNOW you are struggling but you refuse to seek His presence so He can manifest a tighter relationship with you. Nothing shall be hidden from Him, Luke 8:17. See I’ve CHOSEN to be in love with Him, my Lover and my friend. I choose to allow NOTHING to separate me, nothing….Roman 8:31-39 youtu.be/pFP-COOFwEs
