Repost for one of our brothers... in sha allah everyone is doing well and is enjoying the beautiful weather during this summer break. I wanted to let you know that I’m going to run a half marathon soon in sha allah and I want to raise £5000 for the people of Palestine. So I need everyone to donate £50 or as much as you can close to it to help reach this target . You may be thinking £50 is too much but just remember how much the people of Gaza need your help. Waking up to the heart wrenching news of the ever rising death toll 1100, 1200, 1300 ..... Palestinians dead. 100, 200, 300 Palestinian children, women, mothers, daughters, fathers and sons dead. Yet, we sit comfortably in the luxury of our own homes, with our feet up and a drink in one hand, watching the scenes unravel before us. The Palestinians have no more tears to cry. The Palestinians have lost faith in justice. The Palestinians have lost faith in safety even before the shelling of the two UN schools. Nevertheless, the Palestinians have not lost faith in the people of the west to assist them in ending the dehumanising ‘prison camp’. Be human and help raise this money.
