Repost from Maam Sabellano: DEAR EVERYONE, FOR THOSE INQUIRING ABOUT WHEN WILL NON-MAJOR SUBJECTS START, HERES A MESSAGE FROM THE CAS DEAN TO EACH DEPARTMENT (numbered 1 to 3) : 1. Classes for the College of Engineering and Department of Computer Science will start on November 18, 2013. This means that all General Education classes which are held at the Bunzel Building, as well as classes for all Engineering and Computer Science (BSCS, BSIT, BSICT) students held in other buildings will also start on this date. Teachers will have to render make-up classes sometime before the mid-term examinations for the class periods missed. 2. Classes for all the other Colleges will start on November 11, 2013. Teachers are required to report and hold regular classes right away on this day. 3. Enrollment ends before November 11 so all classes must be assigned with teachers already. NOTE THAT GENERAL EDUCATION CLASSES REFERS TO MINOR SUBJECTS. FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO WILL BE ENROLLED IN A MIXED CLASS (a class composed of students with different majors who may not be engineering nor computer science students) MAY TAKE THE INITIATIVE TO JOIN OR START WITH THE OTHER STUDENTS ON NOV 11. THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU JOIN A CLASS NOT REQUESTED BY OUR DEPARTMENT AND YOU CHOOSE TO ENROLL DURING OPEN MARKET. PLEASE BE GUIDED ACCORDINGLY!
