Repost from last year. For those who want to know more about Rebiya Kadeer, the Queen bee of Uighur Separatism. Rebiya Kadeer now lives in the US. But the economic reforms initiated in China during the 1980s allowed her to prosper as an independent businesswoman in Xinjiang (Chinas Northwestern Uighur Autonomous Region) and become a millionaire. She subsequently became a high ranking member of the Chinas Peoples Political Consultative Conference and the Chinas National Peoples Congress. She also held other influential official positions which gave her access to sensitive governmental documents (yes they have them in China as do we). Her marriage to Sidiq Rouzig, who left China to work as a broadcaster for Radio Free Asia and Voice of America promoting an independent East Turkestan (Xinjiang), led to her dismissal from office. She was later accused and convicted of sending confidential government documents to her husband in the US. There is no dispute that she sent these documents abroad, and was in contact with US government officials and Xinjiang separatists while in China. She was released after a few years in jail on a medical leave and left for the US. She has since been a strong advocate of Xinjiang separatism and independence. Islamists posing as Xinjiang separatists are behind a growing number of terrorists attacks in China that have killed dozens of innocent civilians. Of course Kadeer says that she is in no way associated with Islamist terrorism. She does not even acknowledge the existence of the Uighur armed separatist group the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) which the US government lists as a terrorist organization associated with Al Qaeda. Kadeer insists that actions like the car bombing in Tianamen Square and the massacre at the Kunming train station should not be seen as terrorist attacks, but as acts of protest against policies that are pushing the Uyghur people into desperation. This same type of disavowal is used by the Dalai Lama to excuse the suicidal self-immolation of young Tibetan monks. No wonder the two of them are allies in their attempts to dismember China at the behest of their US sponsors. China like any other country has a right to protect itself from terrorist organizations bent of creating havoc in order to promote their own sectarian agenda. We invade other countries over far less serious national security threats. The association of Rebiya Kadeer, the Dalai Lama and the US National Security apparatus, puts the lie to the idea that they are fighting for their peoples welfare. They are paid agents of US Imperialism. China is a multinational country. Kadeer and the Dalai Lama are trying to destroy the unity of the Chinese people by violent means. All their talk about human rights is a smokescreen to promote their own sectarian interests. They want to become a new ruling elite in their respective regions. Its not such a far-fetched dream. Just look at what happened to the Soviet Union. That is the US Imperialists ultimate dream for China. To dismember it, establish rump protectorates in Tibet, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia and install a Quisling regime in Beijing that is allied to Washington. This was the dream of the Japanese Imperialists before and during WW2. The Chinese know better and will never allow that to happen again.
