Reposting : Centrelink competence at its best. I checked what my reporting date was earlier this week as I thought it would be weird to report on 1st January. But when I logged in there it was on that screen - reporting date 1 January. So I reported as usual then, thinking they were very strange for wanting me to do it on a public holiday. Sure enough Im now being paid 3 days late... according to the reporting dates list and the grumpy man I just spoke to I was meant to report on the 29th December. Which I would have done if Id known. But my psychic powers are out of order and I stupidly believed the writing on the screen in front of me. And the lack of a message saying my reporting date was different due to a public holiday. (I have received that message in the past so I know theyre capable of sending it!) Im just a little furious with Centrelink - especially since this is the last weekend of my holidays and now I have to scrape through it with just a few dollars. Not even faintly happy! What are we meant to do when we cant even believe the info on our pages after we log in?
