Reposting. Some facts: --Rep. Erik Fresen chairs the House Education Appropriations Subcommittee in the Florida Legislature. --Rep. Fresen is trying to expand vouchers and charter schools that have no accountability to the taxpayers. --Rep. Fresen is a land use consultant. --Rep. Fresens sister is married to the CEO of Academica, the states largest charter school management company. --Academica makes most of its profits from real estate which is exempt from property taxes because they lease the land to the charter schools they manage. --Rep. Fresen only won his last race by 1400+ votes. --Daisy Baez has an excellent chance to defeat Fresen in November.
