Reposting from Israel Blacklist so that everyone will know what a bunch of bastards Eden Group is (do a search here and youll find more proof): They flat-out lied about my security deposit saying that I had only paid 1,000 shekel and conveniently lost the record of payment for the other 2,000 (despite my contract clearly saying that the deposit was 3,000). I paid in cash and stupidly, having no reason at the time not to trust them, did not retain any proof of payment. I show up to collect my security deposit and find out that, according to their records, I actually owe THEM money because that 1,000 doesnt even cover the ridiculous utility bills that they slapped on (that I was told I wouldnt be charged for when I moved in). Oh, and this is on top of the three months rent that I paid while I wasnt even living in the apartment because its a shitte place and I couldnt find anyone to take the lease over for me when I moved out early. And now I cant do anything about it because Im leaving the country tomorrow. Avoid. Like. The. Plague. Also, if anyone out there with legal resources manages to bring these guys down, I will name my firstborn child after you.
