Reps pass 2014 budget of 4.69trillion Following the lead of the Senate, the House of Representatives yesterday passed the 2014 budget of 2014 amounting to N4,695,190,000,000. The House called on the executive to quickly start the implementation of the budget. The budget passed by the House indicates that N408,687,801,891 is for statutory transfer while N712,000,000,000 is for debt servicing. The budget has N2.54trillion as recurrent expenditure, while N119,614,631,407 is for contribution to development fund for capital expenditure for 2014. The budget was passed sequel to the adoption of the report of the Appropriation Committee. The budget passage by the House has eased the work of the executive as it passed a budget of N4.695trillion, same with the Senate.
