Republic County Halloween events tonight (If you know of others we can add them to the list.) Belleville - 4:00-6:00 p.m. - Children are invited Downtown for Trick or Treat. Businesses not located Downtown, individuals and organizations may bring vehicles Downtown to offer the children treats. Courtland - Starts at 5:30 at the Courtland Arts Center. Trick or treating, hay rack rides, chili and soup served from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. Please bring a side or dessert to share. Sponsored by Courtland Pride Club Scandia - Pumpkin baking contest bring items by 5:15 pm to the City Library. Trunk or Treating vehicles park by 5:30 on Main Street. Costume parade at 6:30 p.m. winner and prizes to be announced immediately. Hotdogs and water served in front of City Office. Sponsored by Scandia Community Club.
