Republic Day Celebrations @ Mris, Charmwood.... Commemorating the 66 years of Indian Republic, Manav Rachna International school, Charmwood, Faridabad celebrated the Indian Historic day with great deal of patriotic zeal and fervour on 23rd January, 2015. The day began with the hoisting of national flag by Mrs. Sanyogita Sharma, Principal, MRIS, Charrmwood followed by the National Anthem. To mark the significance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school. Aanya Mishra and Yashvardhan Singh , from Grade X , shared their thoughts and described the eventful Journey of India from 1950 to 2015. The school choir of primary and secondary wing enthralled the audience with their melodious and patriotic songs like Jai Jana Bharat, Yeh waqt na tera Hai, Saare Jahan Se Achchha, Hum Honge Kaamyaab and many more. Besides this, an Indian Ballet, specially choreographed for the occasion, one act play, presentation on Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao was also staged. The tiny Tots from Early Years, too expressed their spirit towards the nation with their foot tapping dance presentation. The school courtyard reverberated with passion and love for the motherland. The Grand finale on the theme of patriotism left every one spellbound. The programme concluded with the very inspiring speech by Mrs. Sanyogita Sharma in which she motivated the young scholars to do their bit for the nation by being responsible citizens and keeping the country clean and green.
