Republic of South Africa Appointment to the South African National Executive Dear Ms. Valesca Erlank With this letter, you are hereby appointed to the International Youth Council’s National Executive with the designation of the portfolio of International Relations Officer within the committee’s current structures. This appointment is effective from the date it has been drafted until the selection of a new committee. In this capacity, your duties will comprise the following tasks : Co-ordinates all IYC South Africa’s preparation for the Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations Shall frequently contribute on IYC South Africa’s social network handles, newsletter and web presence on matters to do with IYC international work and partnerships Builds partnerships with diplomatic missions and other international organisations Advises IYC South Africa in respect of international youths and student matters, Is responsible for developing the Sustainable Development Goals policy standing of the IYC South Africa, and Liaises with international youths organisations. Together with the National Executive, ensures relations with the IYC Head office and the United Nations We believe that your addition to the committee will enhance our efforts to amplify the youth voice in our generation.
