Republican Party of Australia>> The Republican Party of Australia is fairly new to facebook and we would appreciate some extra likes and followers. We are the only organisation capable of taking the #Republic debate to Parliament thereby compelling political action where it matters - in Parliament. This year we launch our State Republics by Default campaign. Did you know that each State can become a Republic in its own right without leaving #Federation? And best news of all is that it doesnt require a referendum, but can be achieved by individual State Parliaments passing a few legislative changes. The major change is to make the Governor of each State an elected position, thus severing the last ties to #Britain. This change needs to be made in any case for Australia to become independent of Britain, but can happen now. We need your support to make this happen. please like and follow our page.
