Republicans are suing the president? Now… I thought… Yes! Wait a moment… These people say they HATE lawsuits. They DESPISE Triaaaaaaaaal Lawyers… Remember Giulianis semi-literate, lisping rant against lawsuits and the 2008 Bund Meeting? I mean The Republican National Convention? He did it again when his campaign died. Here is a mention from a newspaper at the time by one John Haber (September 2008): Perhaps the best example of the limits of tort reform as an electoral issue is former New York mayor Rudy Giulianis presidential campaign. A key feature of Giulianis ill-fated candidacy was a constant attack on trial attorneys. When his sentences didnt include a noun, a verb, and 9/11 (as Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) was fond of saying), Giuliani urged, as he did in his concession speech, Less lawsuits! Please, less lawsuits. (Of course, he meant fewer, but by then most Americans had turned off the TV.)
