Republicans treat liberals as a crime, they throw it on the ground and step on it. Yet liberals ended slavery in this country. That was a liberal REPUBLICAN president by the way. Liberals got women the right to vote, African Americans the right to vote. Created Social Security lifting millions of Americans out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation, passed the civil rights act. They created Medicare. They passed the clean air and water act. Conservatives opposed everyone of those programs. So when Conservatives try to hurl the word Liberal at my feet like its something dirty, it wont work, because I will pick it up and wear it as a badge of honor !!
