Request for group input: Hi all! First off it was required by the court that the exN and i attend parenting classes. My insurance does not pay for it and the ex wont pay out of pocket. In your experience do thats classes even work with a human who already knows everything and can partent in their own and dont need you etc. (Im sure youve all heard it all before). Also since we mostly likely wont be going to the classes the exN wants to meet twice a month to co-parent on our own. I do not want to meet with him one on one since the pattern of behavior is for him to verbally berate me, talk in circles and nothing ever gets resolved. Its always been a huge waste of time and the perfect forum for him to bully me. So I kindly declined. He then continues (as he has for years) how I dont want to do what is best for our son. I avoid everything and cannot put aside the hate to move forward etc, this is all in OFW which we have been using for merely a week and a half. I thought you could report the other persons tone when they are attacking you but it looks like you can only monitor your own tone? Is this OFW really even going to help me communicate with him? And have any of you found co parenting classes to work with these types of people? any advice would be appreciated
