Request for information from a police family: Our family needs a little help. We live in South Florida, where my husband and I have lived most of our lives. My hubby is a LEO for a very small agency and even though the agency is small, he has tons of experience. We are desperate to move out of this state because our 7 year old son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 5. Thankfully he is in remission and will be done with treatment on October 25th. We have to find a department in NC (Charlotte, Durham or Greenville) thats close to a childrens hospital with a pediatric oncology unit because he will still need check ups for at least the next two years. It also needs to be a department that does lateral transfers. I was wondering if there was anyone on here with knowledge of NC that could recommend some good agencies that are hiring, as well as good places to live. Thank you. Admin L
