Required to support production applications thru event management, Incident management, Release management, Change implementation, scheduling, application assurance and maintaining metrics. Ensure efficient operation to meet service level agreements and business continuity. The position has to provide including: • Monitor ticket queues, including tickets generated from alarms (automated) • Interface, with other work groups to troubleshoot and resolve application issues • Perform day-to-day operations, administration and maintenance activities in support of the application • Manage application startup/checklist tasks, log files, queues, transactions for exceptions and react (fix/escalate/inform) • Troubleshoot application problems, document resolution activities • Perform release and deployment activities • Participate in production problem analysis - provide specific, relevant production information to assist in troubleshooting the problem. • Capable of completing tasks within assigned deadlines • Ability to adapt and move into new technologies • Help and guide team members in their technical, operations support, release and deployment activities. • Ability to work flexible work schedules as required, should be available for Oncall support, Readiness to work on weekends/holidays whenever work demand Required Technical Skills: • Should have at least 2-3 year working experience in Unix, Shell Scripting, Perl scripting, PL/SQL.
