Requirements for Syrian Nationals,: 1. Refugees must have entered Turkey legally on a valid passport 2. Refugees must still hold a valid passport at the time of anticipated departure; and 3. Refugees must be in possession of a valid Residence Permit (blue ikamet/mavi kimlik) Syrian nationals not in possession of a valid (current) passport and mavi kimlik/ikametmay be considered for inclusion in the pilot on a case by case basis if they candemonstrate that: 1. they entered Turkey legally with valid passport(s); and 2. they have maintained legal registration with the authorities in Turkey as demonstratedthrough one of the following: Yabanci Tanitma Belgesi (Foreigner ID Document) or YabanciTanitim Karti (Foreigner ID Card) Note: Due to fluctuations in the circumstances of the operational environment, the Governmentof Canada cannot provide any assurances that Syrians without valid passports and mavikimliks/ikamets at the time of departure will be able to obtain exit clearances to leave Turkey ifselected as privately sponsored refugees
