Requirements to Work as Live-in Caregiver in Canada Please note that when you are first applying, we just need your resume – You don’t need to send all of these requirements to us. We are posting requirements so that you can see if you are qualified to apply and get them ready while waiting for a Job Offer from employer. You will then pass these credentials to the nearest Canadian Consulate Office as soon as you receive a Positive Labour Market Opinion from the employer. 1. Original Copy of Contract with the current employer. You must have worked for 12 months or longer in a foreign country as a caregiver. 2. Transcript of Records. You must have at least 72 units in the University / College 3. Passport (with at least 2 years validity) 4. NBI Clearance 5. Police Clearance from every country where you lived for 6 months or more in the past 10 years 6. Authenticated Birth Certificate 7. Marriage Certificate (if Married) 8. Two photos meeting the requirements of the Visa application photograph specifications. If the photographs do not meet the specifications, you will have to provide new photographs before your application can be processed. Photographs must be printed on quality photographic paper.
