Rescue Update - rescue fatigue is real. I truly understand we are all mortified with animal abuse. Every day I wade thru post of animals in need. The injured, the starved, the nasty shelters, the traumatized. So on top of all that I also on occasion get videos of dogs being beaten or eaten in China and Vietnam, elephants needing rescue in Thailand, rabbits skinned alive in Russia. Now I can tell you Im a pretty strong woman. Im not a hand wringer. Im not of the mindset that prayer fixes the ills of this world. Im sure it provides warm fuzzies that all will be changed and healed. In the meantime what I do see works is those who get up and really do something. So here we go again. Every few months or so. If you continue to Share the above mentioned videos, PETA, HSUS propaganda, pictures of fight dogs I will block you, unfriend you. My heart cannot hold it all. If you destroy me to the point I am hopeless then not only have you hurt me, you have hurt the dogs. No one has to graphically shove in my face, every damn day, the cruelty of my fellow man.
