Rescued yet another muskrat down at the plant today. Everyone says, Kill it, eat it, you can sell the fur. When they or other animals make their way down into my courtyards, they are in need of rescue, not harvest. I used no woodsman skills other than tracking and finding the animal, yes, but I did not outsmart it or study its habits. Sometimes I catch them in their natural environment only because I do my homework. Other times I feel empathy for them when they stumble into Mans world. Plus I dont think they would survive or taste good eating alumina and fluoride. The photo is of a rat past. To date: 5 muskrats and one rabbit saved. They will bite you.
