Research Analyst needed at a Local Research Agency! M/F(1) ****Responsibilities**** - Understand social research projects’ concepts, objectives and methodologies. - Assist Research Manager/RDM for assigned projects from research design to data collection, data analysis and interpretation, report drafting and presentation of findings and recommendations to client. - Develop research design and survey tools in coordination with RM/RDM and SI staff. - Participate in project meetings and trainings. - Meet with appropriate INGO and UN personnel for networking and business development. - Keep informed of social situation in Myanmar, especially developments in aid community. - Share experience and knowledge with staff through formal trainings and informal exchanges and support ****Requirements**** - A Myanmar person with excellent written and spoken English, international exposure and strong interest and experience in social research projects. - A person with a “can do” attitude, functional competence and knowledge of the research process. - Have flexible approach and prepare to work outside of the standard office hours when projects need completing. - Able to work with team and manage the field aspect of qualitative and quantitative research projects from the beginning to the completion of the whole research process.
