Research question: how is the assessment data available effective in planning and supporting relevant instruction tailored to student masterly? What processes should central high school follow to maximize utilization of resources? Background: The leadership teams in central high school engaged in various strategies to enhance student’s performance. The administration has an organized hierarchy of leadership looking into the welfare of their students. All engaged with student’s issues according to the levels of professionalism. The administration hence lacks proper research to fully utilize this programme. To perfect these strategies, administration would like to conduct a research. This explores improvements to be done in data assessments. Aim of the research: the research wants to explore how these data assessment teams have reached to the level they are. This is vital in order to know what areas to improve in their strategies. Administration tried to find out processes to follow utilize assessment programmes. Research methodology: the researcher found two appropriate methods to collect the data needed. For the first objective, we used interview to collect data from some of the administrators. The second needed answers from students. Researcher used questionnaires with open-ended questions. The research had a 98% response at the end of the study. Data analysis: The data the research needed was only qualitative. The researcher analyzed data obtained through compressions of current strategies with earlier ones. Research findings: At the end of the research, researcher got many data the research aimed. The research found teams in central high schools had a goal of acquiring a high status in national ranging. This was both in curricular and extracurricular activities. The research found that teams follow up their students to make sure changes they put onto them make developments. Data assessment processes used to measure improvement are effective. Introduction All social institutions require data assessment programmes. This adjusts and improves performance in them. In central high school, they maximize students learning and measure their progress. To the educators, these programmes assist in indicating student’s performance. It also shows students masterly and progress towards curriculum goals. Literature review According to Bryman (2012) literature reviews other works of research done before but needs modification. Central high school researched on this area of academic excellence. Development and establishment of teamwork shows great reliance from administrators. Members of this administration showed focus in developing favorable strategies. The teams were developed to predict and uproot any financial and operational failures. These strategies included cash reserves to solve any economic crisis which would hinder performance. Research methodology Methodology consists of appropriate methods, procedures and strategies used to obtain data from the field. Interview method was chosen to obtain data from administrators. According to Khan (2008) the method is appropriate where few respondents are available. The face to face method makes information obtained credible and reliable. Data collection The researcher wanted to collect qualitative data. A total of 7 administrators were interviewed face to face to obtain information about what the team tried to accomplish. This method is very important when one likes to obtain even non verbal communication from the respondents (Bryman, 2009). Questionnaires were provided to virtually all the students. Questionnaires included open ended questions where needs and attitudes towards academic improvement were included. The questionnaires were collected and data evaluated. This method was convenient for a large population size. The method saved time for students filled in questionnaires at the same time. Data was collected inside the school which was a convenient location of the respondents. Data analysis It is important to analyze data obtained. According to Khan (2008) data collected is analyzed in order to compare similar facts. This data would otherwise be meaningless. Analyzing assisted in comparing current assessment data available with earlier strategies in tailoring student masterly. The data analysis helped in exploring ways in which these data assessments would improve to maintain competence. Research findings The research found that teams in central high school had a major goal to accomplish. All who played roles made the institution a centre for academic excellence. All the teams coordinated to make sure objectives were met. They had to interrelate with each other to accomplish a common goal. Teachers had to coordinate with bookstore. Assessment team had to work closely with teachers to make sure exams were well supervised. According to Khan (2008) any research findings should align with the objectives. 1. Performance improvement A change in behaviors and conduct greatly influences performance. Academic excellence and maintenance of discipline demonstrated improvement in central high school. All administrators agreed to this. Continuous assessment tests were conducted to measure students’ performance. Comparisons with other learning institutions were made to rank central high school. All professionals were driven towards a goal of excellence. All school leaders perfected their positions with help of personal skills. They showed high levels of accountability in mentorship and leadership. Inclusion of stakeholders in school matters reflected highly in excellence. Sharing of performance details was vital. This would generate other ideas from external community which assisted in introducing new methods. This enhanced relationship between school and society as well. Students showed high expectations with the school management. However, most of them expressed need of change in some areas. Most students wanted empowerment in the games and sports department. They based its importance on students not well adapted to learning but got talents. Some students suggested need of intensive tests in the school. They believed it’s important in properly preparing them in their final exams. 2. Professional monitoring Professional development spearheads excellence. Research showed great appreciation from teachers from the school administrators in adding skills to professionals. From earlier experience, administrators concluded at least three months were needed to add leadership skills to professionals. Three of them who are international mentors welcomed the idea of skill addition to monitor progress. Quoting the best schools, an average of 1000 US dollars was enough to complete the training.
