Researchers found out that the top achievers and peak performers have 7 characteristics common to them: 1. CLARITY - 80% of success come from being clear on who you are, what you believe in and what you want. 2. COMPETENCE - the ability to do something well and to a required standard. 3. CONSTRAINTS - 80% of all obstacles to success come from within. Find out what is constraining in you or your company and deal with it. 4. CONCENTRATION - the ability to focus on one thing and see through it until its done. 5. CREATIVITY - Plant your life with ideas from many sources. Creativity needs to be exercised like a muscle. If you dont use it, youll lose it. 6. COURAGE - Most in demand bust least in supply. The willingness to do the things you know are right. 7. CONTINUOUS LEARNING - Read at the very least a book a week. Just as you eat and bathe, organize your time so you spend 30 minutes a day trying to learn something new. On the other hand, there may be one virtue which leads to all of these characteristics.. and thats HUMILITY. 1. If you are proud, you will always try to pretend to be someone else. Therefore, you lack CLARITY in your life. 2. You are not going to follow the standards because you think have better ways which makes you INCOMPETENT. 3. You can never fully understand what is CONSTRAINING you to success because you dont want to take time reflecting and never want to be corrected. 4.You think you can do everything and ending up starting things you never finish because you dont have the humility to accept that you are human - you can only CONCENTRATE on one thing at a time. 5. And lastly, you stop LEARNING, CREATING NEW IDEAS and DOING THE RIGHT THINGS because you dont want to listen to anybody anymore. Success might be defined in many different ways. Some people measure it by how much money they make, how powerful they are or simply how they have achieved anything that they always longed for. Let us all humble ourselves before the Lord and live a peaceful and happy life. That is what life is all about anyway. :)
