Researchers who have looked at the book note that it says itself that it was written in 1500 the year of our Lord on the bottom (so much for predicting Mohammad) and that the author uses Syriac, a dialect of Aramaic, but quite poorly. Plus, most forgers use animal skin instead of vellum or paper, just like this book. Also it doesnt match most other copies of the Book of Barnabas, so Id say its interesting but not particularly noteworthy. That being said, if the Dead Sea Scrolls taught us anything its that youre a fool to give anything over to the Catholic Church.
