Also I was short on Med 34 waist shorts I think a couple kids got them that should have gotten 32 shorts so we may have to swap a pair out at the field. I will also have socks for the rest of the team. If you are driving up Saturday please note that our games times have been moved up. We play at 12:30 and 3:15. Players need to be at the field by 11:00 so we can have a final walk thru practice before we take on the TN State champs - Sunset Middle. The field address is: 2100 Lebanon Pike Nashville, TN 37210 There is LIMITED parking, there will be shuttle service running from a near by parking lot. We are playing both of our games on FIELD 1 after the Germantown high school games; look for a sea of Red. What to bring for newbies: The fields are on an old driving range so dress like you are going to BBQ fest downtown before they added the concrete walkways :) Do not wear you good shoes it will probably be muddy - think open fields and Woodstock. There is NO SEATING so bring LAWN CHAIRS for you and your PLAYER. There will be concessions portapotties and a merchandise tent for Rugby gear and shirts. Players need mouthpieces, water, cleats, warm-up pants and jacket/hoodie (it will be 10-15 degrees cooler on the field since it is open and gets WINDY) Do not let little Johnny show up in shorts and a tshirt - they can always shed a layer. I will set up a team tent by Field 1 for us. We will have have a team dinner Saturday night at Hermitage House Smogasborg 3131 Lebanon Pike Nashville, TN 37214 at 6:00 pm. cost will $17.55 per person which includes food beverage and tip. This will be EASY and FAST so kids dont have to wait an hour on food. We may audible and decide to go eat right after our game around 5pm so after dinner kids can head to pool and parents can unwind for evening vs driving back and forth from hotel.
