Reservations Supervisor The Cairns Colonial Club Resort and Palm Royale Cairns are seeking an experienced and ambitious Reservations Supervisor to join the team. This role reports to the Front Office Manager whom you will forge a close working relationship with in order to maximise occupancy and yield opportunities in the competitive Cairns market. Key responsibilities include the training and development of staff and the management of daily tasks ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate prior experience in a similar role in a 4 star hotel environment. You will be well presented with excellent people skills. Your eye for detail will ensure the accuracy of all data used and enable effective business planning. Be an engaged hands on leader with the drive to meet and exceed service and forecasted sales targets. Prior experience with Opera (property management system) will be highly regarded. Experience in co-ordinating large volume group business is a must as is the understanding and management of third party booking sites and general online space. Create a Sales/Reservations focused culture and effectively train team members to deliver forecasted sales targets. Manage inventory to the minute ensuring optimal bookings and sales.
