ResetTO - City Planning is an Attack on Democratic City Planning, and in that, on the New Urbanism process of urban planning as well. Chief Planner Jennifer Keesmaat said that this new so-called, Development Permit System (DPS) would be a fundamental shift in how planning is done in Toronto. While were all running around to the countless planning meetings in Ward 30 (and all around Toronto with regard to the Provincial plan to Densify 25% of the Cities Avenues) - it looks like some power brokers have begun to try to sneak this one by us. The new process will be implemented through public consultation in massive areas of the city.
