These 14 apartments focus on our innovative care model The Social Life Template, which was created in cooperation with world renowned dementia researcher Cameron Camp, Ph.D The Resident Associate, as part of the direct service team, is responsible for assisting residents in maintaining their optimal level of functioning. The duties will encompass the areas of activities, meal service, and personal care, but will not be limited to just these areas. He/she must have the ability to work independently and cooperatively with other disciplines and departments at StoneGardens and MenorahPark. Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the residents is important. Essential Qualifications Minimumhigh school education; STNA preferred. Must have the communication skills necessary to work with residents, families, and colleagues as a team member. Must demonstrate sensitivity to, empathy for, and an interest in the elderly and those with cognitive impairments Must be physically able to bend, push, lift, stand extensively, and perform assigned responsibilities. Must be willing to fulfil serving, cleaning, and set-up responsibilities in the dining room. Must participate in activity programming. Must assist with personal care for all residents Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
