Residents of Durango, Cortez and the Four Corners region of Colorado have been left for decades without basic access to the news, weather, sports and emergency information they need. I’ve been proud to lead the fight to give these Coloradans access to Colorado TV broadcasts — instead of the New Mexico stations they are stuck with today. Thats why I brought FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel and representatives from Colorados broadcasters and satellite TV providers to Durango to hold a public forum and discuss solutions. Whether its Denver Broncos games or information about wildfires, floods and other breaking news, I’ll keep leading the effort to find a solution that ensures Four Corners residents have the same access to statewide news, weather and sports as other Coloradans.
