Residents of Glastonbury in my Wide Bay electorate will benefit - TopicsExpress

Residents of Glastonbury in my Wide Bay electorate will benefit from the Coalitions plan to deliver fast, affordable broadband sooner, with construction starting on a wireless tower that will enable NBN connections within 12 months. The Coalition’s NBN plan prioritises the broadband rollout to areas that have the poorest coverage. It is expected that 24 NBN towers will be completed in communities around Wide Bay in the next 12 months. The Federal Liberal Nationals Government is investing an extra $1.2 billion in rural Australia to ensure that satellite and fixed wireless networks are able to cope with demand. In contrast, Labor had six years in office and delivered almost nothing for Wide Bay. They over-promised and under-delivered on every aspect of their NBN plan, breaching connection targets, blowing out costs, and leaving people in the dark all along the way. The Coalition Government’s changes to the NBN rollout will save $32 billion on Labors plan, deliver upgrades up to four years sooner and avoid internet retail bills increasing by up to 80 per cent. For more information on the NBN rollout visit nbnco.au/rollout or contact the NBN via phone on 1800 OUR NBN (1800 687 626). warrentruss/electorate.php?id=2513
