Residents of Jos woke up this morning with panic and fear with news making the rounds that Ebola case was recorded in Jos.I called the Nigerian Medical Association Secretary Dr Menshak and he said there is no documented case of Ebola in Jos.He also described as rumour the news making the rounds.He warned people against using salt solutions as it might worsen some health problems like hypertension.Menshak said there is no Empirical prove to show that salt prevents Ebola as Ebola virus can penetrate the skin through sweat glands.Commissioner for Health in Plateau state just called me now as I was posting this that residents should disregard the text as just a rumour.May God save us from Ebola....
