Residents of group housing societies are facing grave problems in the provision of basic and estate services to them by the Chandigarh Administration. Even after several representations to the officers, there is no effort on their part to address our problems. Electric supply and water supply is erraatic, no cleanliness around the sectors, no maarkts and dispensaries. Members at Group housing cooperative societies welfare council is working to see end to the problems of the residents. Chandigarh Administration must transfer the internal land of group housing societies to Municipal corporation to enable it to provide all municipal services within and without the chunks. House of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has already passed a resolution but officers have failed to send a communication to the Chandigarh Administration to implement the resolution adopted on the issue.
