Resilient people of God who refused to be intimidated: The people - TopicsExpress

Resilient people of God who refused to be intimidated: The people in Madi Corridor, where Operations Nehemiahs mission is based, are strategically placed by God right at the entrance of the Nile Valley into South Sudan from Uganda. The Gospel has taken hold here over the last 10 years as Nehemiah Trumpet Call 97.3 FM Gospel radio station has been broadcasting there on a daily bases. The people are beginning to understand the role of government & the consequences of civil war. Their leaders are level-headed and have not been involved with rebel schemes against the government. For the last month, there have been rumors of war breaking out in the Corridor. Instead of running in fear, the people have stood their ground, and to date no war has transpired. By Gods grace, our radio station has been pivotal in encouraging the people to stand against fear that would cause them to flee and lose the ground God has given them. What is next for 2015? My wife Hannah, our six children, and the family of Jonathan Lueken, Roger, Patty & Emma will be joining us on our annual mission trip to the South Sudan from mid March through late May 2015. There are more pictures in the this newsletter that I quoted from above. Gods abundant blessings in the last days of 2014 really encouraged the people and strengthened their resolve to stay the course and the arrival of the Ambulance and flour grinder were welcomed with songs of rejoicing that we heard as we talked with Jonathan on the phone!!! us1.forward-to-friend/forward/preview?u=d3e3508f72a4cfdd390e7e2a3&id=6a2265f93f
