Respected Prime Minister,As usual you have completed your task of appreciating the bankers through your email for theGuinness World Record.Do you think your email will feed our starvation?Have you ever heard of a Guinness record won by the Govt of India anytime before?Your email was so nicely drafted as if you were not at all aware of the ongoing wage revision drama. All along you are comparing our performance with that of the Private banks in Efficiency and Profit. Now, I request you to do the comparision in Dedication to the Poor and the Nation. We opened 11 crore accounts in just 3 months my dear PM . We went to streets, roads, villages, forests, hills...to acheive this record.Do you think your email will feed our starvation? When a 10+2 quallified Steno get a salary of Rs.30000 in Central Govt departments our Bank clerks with Degree qualification are paid a meagre salary of 16000. When a officer of Central Govt Department get Rs.50000 as starting salary our officers get only Rs.30000 as their starting salary. My Dear PM... only those ILL-PAID Bankers have brought you the Guinness record but not your well paid department staffs.Do you think your email will feed our starvation?Do You know how many ministries works a Bank officer is carrying out?.Finance Ministry : Banking, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Tax Collection and Filing, Anti Money Laundering, Foreign Exchange etc..Home Ministry: FATF guidelines, KYC & AML..HRD Ministry: Education loans, Subsidy disbursements, Skill development through RSETIs, Scholarship disbursements, Right To Education Fund Disbursements etc..AGRICULTURE Ministry: Agriculture Credit, Rural Extension Programmes, Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusion, Animal husbandry, Fisheries, Horticulture, NABARD subsidy disbursements, Debt Waiver implementation etc, SHG formation, JLG formation, Farmers Club formation, Farmer Producer Companies...POWER Ministry: Infrastructure financing, Solar projects etc..Rural & Urban Development Ministries : Rural housing scheme for All, MGNREGA payments, NRLM,SJSRY, Urban housing scheme for All, Toilets building...MSME Ministry: CGTMSE scheme, MSME credit etc..Heavy industries Ministry: Industrial Finance to all industrial establishments,External Affairs Ministry: NRI/NRO accounts, FCNR deposits, Forex remittance, FCRA Guidelines implementation etc..Petroleum Ministry: Finance to oil companies, LPG subsidy DBT scheme etc..Women and Child development ministry: Cash credit to Pregnant mothers, Cash credit to New born babies,Law Ministry: Litigation depositsHealth Ministry: Mediclaim, Financing Hospitals etc..Social Welfare Ministry: Old age pension, Widow Pension, Disabled pension etc..Apart from the above, Payment and Settlement system, Money Supply, Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee etc..etc...etc..Respected PM, Do you think your email will feed our starvation? All Govt departments, Courts, Railways, PSUs, Stock markets, IT companies...allwork for 5 days only. My dear PM, we bankers are also made of flesh and blood. We too get tired..We too have family, We too need rest, We too have life to live...Then why cant you hear our cry Give us 5 days working and regulated working hours like other departments?.Do you think your email will feed our starvation? You have defined pension, your ministers have defined pension, your MPs have defined pension, Your MLAs have defined pension. When a short termpublic servant like you are having defined pension why bankers are denied defined pension?Do you think your email will feed our starvation? Many more such questions dear PM...You conductedGyan Sangam to improve the performance of Public Sector Bankers as if we are under-performing.Now these 10 lac under-performers have gifted you a Guinness record made of our blood and sweat.Hope your next email will be sent to IBA/Finance ministry about our settlement, to make the record meaningful. Please dont make the Record-Makers to Beg.Thanks in anticipation. suresh kumar
